Possible Shorts

This post will likely mark some sort of short term bottom (thank me later), but if things heat up to the downside, this post will provide you with some ideal short candidates.

One of my go-to short screens (it’s been a while since I had to use one), can be found HERE. This particular screen searches for stocks with a fundamental score below 3 (meaning terrible financial statements),  technical score below 2.5 (meaning poor charts), and a net cash per share/price under 0.1. The screen is also sorted by YTD percentage gainers.

Charts of interest include: P, TSLA, SCTY, LNG, YELP, WDAY, SHLD, VIPS, CZR, FUEL, ZLC, WUBA.

Note: Futures are up a tad and we are due for a bounce here, so I wouldn’t look to short immediately. But, this is a good post to reference back to as we start hitting our head on resistance (say 1770 on the S&P 500).
