Back To Cash
I sold out my remaining positions today in exchange for cash. Frankly, I’ve given back a little more than I wanted to in the last two weeks and am ready to start Q4 with a clean slate.
My guess, because of this, the market rips 300+ points in pre-market Monday morning, leaving cash heavy guys like me in the dust. I kid, I kid.
Psychology is everything in this game. And, when I find my timing is off a bit, it’s best to reset, and that is exactly what I have done.
See you guys later his weekend with some stock ideas.

My thinking was just the opposite. I bought today thinking that the sell off never begins on Oct 1st
You’re right. It began on 9/28.
And this is what makes a market my friend.
So we began the sell off on 9/28? I will have to jot that down for next time.
That’s why he’s ready with cash to participate.
More of a portfolio decision not a market call.
I would agree. I see I cant make a simple statement. It Won’t happen again..
I thought Buffet’s statement’s on cash were brilliant: It is the ultimate “free” hedge option on anything you might buy at the best time.
