A Brief History of The RaginCajun

It was 2006, and the RaginCajun was into watching Jim Cramer on TeeVee, funny I know. I was just hitting my stride with trading (started in 2002), and his show actually helped me learn a little more about the inner workings of WallStreet. I remember it like yesterday. I was student at the University of Louisiana Lafayette, home of The Ragin Cajuns, studying Finance, and I wanted as much information about the stock market that I could find. So what did I do, I went to the internets.

There, I googled Jim Cramer stock alerts, in search of his picks, and I stumbled across the most fantastic site on all of the interwebs, Flyonwallstreet.blogspot.com. Here, they had a blogger by the name of BrokerA (which morphed into The Fly), where he would post Cramer’s picks along with his own. Note, The Fly’s picks were always better, no offense Jim Cramer if you’re reading.

Over at Flyonwallstreet, I learned much from the guy they called Broker A, he was my first real mentor when it came to the stock market. His writing was incredible, but even better were his picks. He actually inspired me to start my first blog, over at madstocks.blogspot.com, and this was how The RaginCajun, aka “BTFO” king, was born.

Through the years I ran into a lot of great people across the internets, some of which helped me create my very style of trading today. I would often hang out at a place called Wallstreak, this is when my stock game increased ten fold. At this ledgendary place, wallstreak.com, it was a trading room/group filled with a bunch of traders, some smart/ some not so smart, but the key was, everyone was there to learn from each other. To this day I thank Uglychart for making the site, but am sad to see it dried up (stocktwits ate it for lunch).

Right before Wallstreak dried up, The Fly played a joke on everybody saying he was quitting the blog game and said he would disappear from the internets to never be heard from again. Little did they know, 11/12/2007, iBankCoin was born.

Tomorrow marks the third anniversary of iBankCoin, and I am proud to be here. Fly was very generous from the start feeding me mailbox money, that far surpassed my Google adsense account, so I shut my third tier blog down and got to work. BTW, The Fly actually laser beamed my blog at one point, I kid you not, do not fuck with him.

Tonight, a dream comes true. Tonight, 12631 launches, which will be a premium service featured by Chess and myself. In this executive order called 12631, I get to share with you everything I have learned throughout the years, as well as create an elite trading room with my main man chessNwine.

Tonight marks the beginning of something special, this trading room will be unmatched by anything else out there on the internets. I want to challenge everyone to be part of history and give Chess and I a look, even if only for the first month. I promise to teach you guys a thing or two that you can take with you for the rest of your life.
