Big $SPX earnings week next week… Definitely something to watch!
Thursday and Friday are huge, as is Tuesday. Big financials coming out. Gonna be interesting next week.

I’m thinking it may be an up week next week.
Thinking the opposite. I still have a strong feeling the market is going to fall from here not bounce. I realize it is oversold but every passing day that degree of oversoldness gets less and less. I kinda feel like it passed up its chance to bounce yesterday and today. But we shall see. I can see it going either way but I am still betting on it going down although time frame is the next few weeks so a short bounce wouldn’t change anything.
Obviously could go either way but I’m inclined to view this action similarly to the action around 950 a month or two ago. Bulls were unable to get it done and the longer it took the more it fueled the bears to bring it down. Without a close below 875 early next week, I think their chance is gone and we will rally (920-930) over the subsequent few weeks. Bears are just not getting it done in what seems like very benign conditions and a pretty straightforward chance to dump the market.
Pre-earnings options strangles anyone? I may have to do a follow-up KOPG post on this reviewing the best option strangles out of this list.
Yeah, throw a couple of those out.
