In Addition To Breaking Blog Silence, I Also Have This To Say

First off, thank you to everyone who showed up on my Friday blog and showed their appreciation for my work.  It means something to me, that I might provide value to your daily work flow.

I love work.  I work so much.  I do not expect you to admire my determination.  I am just creating the type of content that I wish existed when I was 20, 21 years old.  The type of content that demonstrates what it actually takes to make money.

I studied finance in college because I wanted to make money.  Society today is incredible.  As long as you make money and take care of your responsibilities, you are free to do whatever you please with your time.  When you lay the timeline of earth out on a linear plot you realize how short your blip of existence is.

So I want to respect your time.

And when people like sacrilege show up and spew their hateful nonsense, it just makes me sad.  It is not that he has an opposing view to mine.  It is that he harbors a sickness in his mind and maybe his heart, whatever that means.

Growing up, my uncle lived with me.  The guy was clinically crazy.  They blamed it on the drunk driver that ran him over when he was a boy.  Then they blamed it on the doctors, which is fair.  They did not understand closed-head injuries in the early 80s like we do today.  When my mom arrived at the hospital, she always tells me, my uncle was propped up in a chair with his eyeball hanging out of his head.

Elder RAUL tells a different story.  He says my uncle was always a bit off.  He talks about these serious fevers the guy used to experience, well beyond 110 degrees fahrenheit, and says his temperament was always a bit off, which is why he ran in front of that car and was smashed.

Anyhow I grew up with this crazy man as a fixture of my daily life.  He yelled constantly and had the strength of an ox.  Retard strength, as they say.

His volatility fascinated me.  I constantly attempted to understand it with the goal of easing the stress it caused to my family.  At age 11 I had an interesting breakthrough.  My parents bought me a Sony discman.  It was big and bad ass.  I loved it.  For whatever reason, aside from the most savage west coast rap music, I was also into the Beach Boys back then.

My uncle was having a fit.  It was probably because we wouldn’t let him have any more pop.  The guy loved sugary pop.  He would drink it too fast and choke on it.  Anyhow I plopped headphones on him and played Good Vibrations.  He stopped shouting.  Well, he did not stop entirely.  He began singing the song loudly.  But he stopped freaking out.  It was great.  From then on we knew that he could be soothed with music.

Music truly is special.

My uncle did not say many things but he repeated everything he said over-and-over, tens of thousands of times.  What would amuse me most would be when he would yell, repeatedly, “I’M NOT YELLING.”  To see a full grown man yell that he is not yelling is an experience most of you will never know.

He was crazy.  Closed head injury crazy. It shaped me.  It made me comfortable with volatility.  I am sure of it.  The stock market can dish out 200 point ranges in the NASDAQ and it doesn’t phase me.  It actually amuses me.

The point of this long anecdote is important.  Every interaction with someone is an opportunity to learn something.  Even if that person is sick in the head, like commentor sacrilege most likely is, it is still an opportunity to expand your understanding of life, maybe, maybe humanity, maybe how to make money.

I don’t have the answers.

What I do have are battle-tested lessons in trading.  What I do have is the most logical and unbiased way to create a short-term bias and define actionable trading levels.

And that is enough for me.  Hopefully it is enough for most of you to stop in and see what your boy is up to.  Because for real, I love this shit, trading and blogging and making videos of my handsome face.

That’s all.

RE: the markets

I do not have any objective way of confidently forecasting what may transpire over the next five days.  I am not too proud to admit that.  My trading will be light during the holiday week.

Sacrilege, if you happened to read this listen, yes—I am comparing you to my developmentally disabled uncle.  It may seem offensive, but I can assure you he was the sweetest man I have ever known.  He taught me more about life than anyone else ever has.  And I respect you, and I respect your right to say whatever the hell you want.

I do not respect you anti-Jew sentiment.  It is truly fucked up.  Like seriously, stop coming to my blog entirely if you will not stop saying that shit.

kindest regards,

Fantastic. I find you learn the most from people you don’t like, don’t agree with, feel sad for, don’t understand etc… it’s mostly why I still come around ibankcoin. I honestly don’t even take 70% of the posts here seriously anymore. The election surely ruined the content, but at the same time made it more interesting. You got to watch people choose a narrative and go with it full tilt, and it brought out some interesting characters that felt they now had a voice. I really don’t have a ton of interest in reading/having conversations with people who think just like I do. So it’s been interesting getting to see how people’s brains work…. I’ve had a few characters in my life like your uncle. Some of those interactions have been truly life defining. Enjoy your blog, keep up the good work.

I am afraid that the experiences you have been dealt are pretty irreparable. You are not alone, however. The experience can vary depending on how your parents reacted and who was prioritized, whether it be you or your uncle or someone else. In my experience the handicapped one was elevated to a normal person level with minor issues. Well this was quite a failure as the individual has become extremely spoiled and demanding. Tough damn buisiness. Not everyone has to live in these circumstances but many do. It’s really difficult.

I hadn’t read your blog until your post on Friday. I then looked back on some of your hypos on how /NQ would move and thought: maybe I should read more of your stuff.

Anyway, anonymous internet ids will always tend to be inclined to the negative. I figure that, as long as their insults are entertaining, then …whatever. For me, the most annoyingly useless commentary is from the fawning groupies …i.e., “FIG”, etc. I guess a blogger has to accept that the truly engaging, on-subject, edifying interactions will be rare. Too bad that OA couldn’t deal with this, I hope that you will.

Re Sarc, he generalizes about every group. But in particular, he has allowed himself to become a reactionary to right-wing expansionist Israeli interests that have an unhealthy control over our foreign policy. He is openly bigoted. Most Americans express their bigotry by going along with the bigoted policies of Israel and the US in the mid-east while congratulating themselves for doing so. I only wish that our press and politicians had the courage to examine Israeli policies at least as much as Israelis do …as the Jerusalem Post, Haaretz, et al do. I have condemned Sarc’s bigotry just as I condemn the cowardice and cluelessness of Americans who go along and who allow themselves to be cowed for fear of being called anti-Semitic.

Yup, I very much enjoyed your musing, Raul. And thank you for taking the entire page to draw parallels b/w your crazy uncle and “sacrilege”. I appreciate it. And I am sorry for “sacrilege” making you so sad. That’s awful.

Now, let’s make this productive, RAUL SANTOS. You see, “sacrilege”, being clinically sick in his head, crazy and a bit off due to fevers 110 and beyond, as well as being retarded due to a drunk driver who ran over his head when he was a boy and now sitting here propped up in a chair with his left eyeball hanging out of his head while yelling nonsense, sipping on dry red wine and listening to Flaer Smin (he really doesn’t like those fruity Beach Boys but he respects the fact that you do), he doesnt have much time between seizures of craziness to make this comment much longer than this; but hopefully, being the sweetest (and unusually handsome, masculine, christian white supremacist) virile alpha male that ever responded to your musings, he hopes to teach you more about life than anyone else ever has. Aside from your crazy uncle, of course.

There are about 1/2 dozen points that caught his crazy attention but he will highlight “just a few” interesting ones.

    1) When out of logical and coherent argument/response, always attack the individual, never the subject of matter. That’s called ad hominem attack in case you were wondering. Cowardly as it is.

    2) Can you see the lack of critical reasoning and logic in the following statement or is it just “sacrilege’s” craziness seeing a compadre in your view of the world?

And when people like sacrilege show up and spew their hateful nonsense, it just makes me sad. It is not that he has an opposing view to mine. It is that he harbors a sickness in his mind and maybe his heart, whatever that means.

I’ll pick this apart for you. This part here: It is not that he has an opposing view to mine. {putting my psychologist hat on} You and “sacrilege” have the same view on things but you, Raul Santos, just hate yourself for having the same view as “sacrilege”. amirite? Is that your problem? Cognitive dissonance? Being unable to deal with an idea that subconsciously you know is right but your commie marxist upbringing does not allow you to admit it?

    3) Next point. You say this:

I do not respect you anti-Jew sentiment. It is truly fucked up. Like seriously, stop coming to my blog entirely if you will not stop saying that shit.

What exactly is “anti-Jew” sentiment? “Sacrilege” is too crazy and fucked up to understand it. Can you explain? Link to any comment of “sacrilege” on your blog and make a logical “pro-Jew” argument (the exact opposite view of “sacrilege”‘s) to demonstrate how crazy “sacrilege” is. Besides the fact that you were too cowardly to engage “sacrilege” and show your superior intellect when the occasion called for it. You’ll get another chance here. Go for it. And bring friends to help you!

    4) You also made this statement:

Like seriously, stop coming to my blog entirely if you will not stop saying that shit.

Would you agree that this reaction is exactly what one would expect from an insecure marxist virtue-signaling snowflake? Like: “Oh, please please dont violate my safe space!! My opinions are too fragile to be commented on. Please please go away from my blog. This micro-aggression cannot stand. It is hurting me! Oh, please, I cannot take it! Go away! Stop coming to my blog entirely! You hurt me!!”

Is that what you meant to say?? Of course you did. And I am sorry “sacrilege” made you sad and caused you discomfort with his candid comments. I realize you are too sensitive for life with alphas.
Hey, but instead of debating issues you know you cannot win, you can always show your true beta, sensitive, snowflaky censorship colors and use the ban hammer. That always work for marxists when they run out of arguments, no? And murder. That works too for that commie filth.

    5) You may think this is petty but it’s not. You may have noticed I responded under the handle “sarcrilege” on behalf of “sacrilege”. It’s called attention to detail. Why sarcrilege? Illiterate? Crazy and unable to spell ‘sacrilege”? Maybe. Or it’s a play on ‘sarcasm’. Or not.

Anyway, I sincerely dont think you have the balls on you to debate what you meant by “anti-Jew” sentiment because you know “sacrilege” is right. Have a good day playing in the Nasdaq casino with confetti emitted by hofjuden at the FED.

Oh, one more time, repeating myself like your crazy uncle, dont forget to ban ‘sacrilege’ and his inconvenient and to you insensitive comments. You really dont need the emotional pain and snowflaky trauma those comments are causing you. I do hope you can fully recover in your safe space from a little bit of crazy truthiness I unleashed on you here. Hugs and kisses. xoxoxo Please feel better. The marxist world depends on you and admires you. There’s a consolation trophy waiting for you some place….

How do you find the time to trade when you spend your days in the comments section of IBC looking like an asshat?

I dont need to trade. I am independently wealthy, I have never ending stream of income I need to protect, I only buy – I dont sell, I dont know what to do with my time other than shitpost to get a rise out of retards like you and Raul. Did I answer your question or was that too long for your ADHD dysfunctionality?

    Top notch Raul.

I too recently added significantly to my $twtr position after much thought. Twtr will be a big winner in the long term.

However, tsla, while I agree with your sentiment regarding musk as a person, I cannot get there with $tsla as an investment. Musk is doing a huge service for the world with tsla, but alas, but I fear the benefit is that he has caused real auto companies to accelerate the development of EVs. GM et al seem poised to eat tesla’s lunch. And worse, I fear musk would be somewhat okay with that, because his end game is to save the planet as you have noted, not to enrich the investor class.

But I digress. The reason for my post is to say I very much agree with most of your views and would love to hear more about your other long term investments, if your are open to pen such a post.

    Thank you Raul.

Thank you Raul for this post. I greatly appreciate your candor, passion for trading and trader community building, and now the calling out of the anti-Semitic shithead who appears to have taken a lease out on the comments section of this entire site to spew his depravity. No other blogger on iBC has made any effort to address him, with ZPN appearing to respond to him quite amiably. It’s been difficult to see the site become a safe space for Sarc, and hopefully this will help change that. Just thanks.

I am not sure if you noticed but Raul did not wipe his ass for a few days cuz no $$ for a roll of toilet paper and you went right ahead and shoved your nose in his ass. And the brown smelly stuff on your nose? Don’t worry about it. That’s you badge of honor.

Raul – Thanks for posting this. You do come across as a pretty balanced normal individual.

However , you do blog on a site that also has a conspiracy nut job blogger, and that likes of ZPN will draw the lunatics like Sarc and the meth addled misogynist Ironbird.

As the old saying goes, if you lie with dogs you will attract fleas .. or something to that effect.
