Trump Calls on Russia To Turn Hillary’s Missing Emails Over To The FBI

Donald Trump sent out a tweet:

Team Hillary issued a statement, opting not to use email for this communique:

HRC-reacts

If I am reading this statement correctly, the HRC camp is saying that by Donald asking Russians or anyone else to turn over the deleted emails to our FBI he is creating a national security issue.

Moving on.

Since Wikileaks recent dump of over 20,000 emails from the Democratic National Committee servers, there have been claims that the Russians are working closely with Donald Trump to ensure Hillary Clinton is not granted access to the oval office.

Wikileaks has become a reputable source of hacker information especially since 2013 when the firm aided Ed Snowden.  Per Wikipedea:

Snowden documents published in 2014 show that the United States government put Assange on the “2010 Manhunting Timeline”,[130] and in the same period they urged their allies to open criminal investigations into the editor-in-chief of WikiLeaks.[131] In the same documents there was a proposal by the NSA to designate WikiLeaks as a “malicious foreign actor”, thus increasing the surveillance against it.

The official Wikileaks twitter account has denied any knowledge of where the #DNCLeak emails came from:

Meanwhile the DNC paid a security consulting agency to analyze the hack, and it turns out there were some meta-giblets on the files which show Russian data peppered on the files.  I’m no expert on hacking, but I do know a person can use Russian, or any other countries IP addresses if they want to protect their anonymity.

hill-russ

Positioning Donald Trump as a comrade to Russia has been the primary strategy of the Clinton campaign ever since Five Thirty Eight data showed the candidates in a close race. The goal is to downplay any information the hackers produce, because allegedly more is on the way:

Hysterical. He just turned it back on her by asking, what gives, you said those 33,000 e mails weren’t classified. Now you’re saying they are. You just ratted on yourself !

Putin has been fighting the globalists who brought in communism to Russia. He’s just trying to warn us about what is really going on. I have no problem being his ally.

Hillary admits her actions have posed a national security risk…. in order to conceal the content of the emails that she previously failed to prevent from being obtained through hacking due to her “negligence” (at best)…

All for a cheap political shot at Trump.

And once again Trump positions himself such that any attack on him doesn’t really hurt him much while he continues to generate free press and boost his name recognition and hurts Hillary equally if not worse.

Hillary may succeed in trying to link Russia and Trump but in doing so she hits herself with “incompetence” label” at best.

This may be a George Costanza year for those strongly on a particular side… Afterall, both candidates will be well over 60% unfavorable before they take office, so you can be very confident (80/20) that the next side will get a 1 term deal, while the other side has a 50/50 shot of getting 2 terms afterwards.

First of all, you obsequious upstart, why don’t you stop being such a weapons-grade sycophant to the Fly with that avatar of yours. My idea is very simple, and it is rooted in intelligence and logic; you go the obvious way of voting for the candidate with the best resume, understanding of legislative politics and ability to navigate international affairs, and one who doesn’t arouse nativist sentiment among the cretins of the fly-over states. You certainly don’t vote for a fatuous blowhard, who, with what money he has left from squandering his inheritance on bad business decisions, made a name for himself by circumventing bankruptcy laws and discriminatory housing practices.

A key part of the liberal platform is starve, tax, and then replace with immigrants the working part of the native population. They literally hate working class America and have no concept of what uncontrolled immigration has done to destroy to working people of the country and their neighborhoods. Look at this snobs post, he loaths the working middle of the country, “the flyover people,” that build the cars and feed the world. How extraordinarily smug.

    Another angle to this….
All of this assumes Russia is going to change their mind based upon Trump’s comments. Probably a silly assumption but to the biased irrationality of the human mind it seems perfectly like a reasonable assumption if it goes unchallenged.

    Nevertheless, from a persuasion perspective:
1)If Russia (or whoever) does release emails, it looks like Trump has control over things and they will respond to him. He’ll look more capable of leading, and can take the “win”.
2)If Russia does not release emails, Trump can reframe future attacks trying to connect him and Russia by saying “If I was associated with Russia why didn’t they release the 33,000 emails as I requested?” It’s not normally the best defense, but he can’t label Hillary’s camp as “conspiracy theorists” without walking into her trap of being able to link him to Alex Jones and other conspiracy theories like Obama’s birth certificate.

Meanwhile, all the attention that otherwise would have been focused on DNC convention is now losing focus.

Trump’s tendency to command attention hurts Trump when there’s negative news on Clinton and instead he says something ridiculous. But it helps him when there otherwise would be more attention on positive press on Clinton. But Trump is more able to withstand negative press since he’s done it

I don’t get why he thinks handing them over to the FBI would make any difference (“WHAT DIFFERENCER DOES IT MAKE!?!!”), since they and the InJustice Dept are obviously bought and paid for by the Clintons & she could eat a live human baby on stage & no one would do a dang thing about it.

Don’t get me wrong; I wanna see her stroke out on live TV as much as anyone else does…I’m just resolved to the sad fact that the FBI aint gonna do anything about it.

It very well may have been a strategy to take away from DNC and simultaneously get her to indirectly admit the emails (and thus her actions in failing to protect them) were a matter of national security.

Consider this, Comey chose to make this a trial of public opinion. He took the facts directly to the American people by holding a press conference, announcing all her wrongdoings, but recommending to not hold trial. He knows that Obama already endorsed her and so an indictment would have been unlikely, or a pardon would have followed, and double jeopardy laws would prevent another shot at it.

If Trump wins, there will likely be a new AG and they can consider a trial.
He doesn’t want to be accused of altering world politics. So ultimately the people will decide by their votes in November. Yes, their votes will also be tied to the candidates’ policies… (you can’t really vote that you think she’s guilty but you still prefer her policies to Donald’s or that you think she’s innocent, but still prefer Donald’s policies). Nevertheless, if Donald wins, there will still possibly be another trial, which will give her a chance to prove her innocence.

But the alternative is suggesting trial when the system is heavily biased in her favor when the standing president has endorsed her, and the standing AG has been offered a job by the Hillary administration. Most likely there would not be another trial and she would have been found innocent as Obama would not have endorsed and risk tying his legacy to Hillary if he thought there was a chance she would be indicted. Who knows, maybe information will come out that Obama knew about her private server (as he likely would have had to email a non whitehouse.gov email account to reach her), and may be implicated himself. Does that sound like an unbiased, fair trial in the making?

Sure, maybe Comey’s claim was legitimate that there hadn’t been another trial like this so he wasn’t going to take the risk by setting new precedence. Or maybe Hillary isn’t the only one to have a private server and a public trial may compromise national security. We really don’t know…

But we do know that Comey laid out the facts and gave America an opportunity to use their vote to determine whether or not they think Hillary made a mistake and was reckless enough with national security interests to lose your vote or not. It may even call into question the FBI’s credibility temporarily. But it preserves the credibility of the democratic nomination process. If another candidate (Bernie or Biden) had to replace Hillary in the middle of election or at the DNC because of trial, the people that voted and the awarded delegates are removed and don’t have a say… If the ongoing trial made it impossible for Hillary to be nominated president, Trump would win by default against the will of the people, or because they were influenced to vote by it, and his presidency lacks credibility to half the population.

Preserving the credibility of the democratic process is arguably more important than justice of an individual case.

If you aren’t concerned about Trump’s coziness with Putin then you don’t understand world affairs or Trump’s recent business history. He’s been financing projects with known Russian mob figures for years. US banks won’t loan him money. Google Trump SoHo Grand hotel. What incriminating info do they have on him? It’s OK that Trump has no objection to Russia annexing Crimea? What about when he goes after Ukraine and other former soviet properties? None of you think it’s suspicious that Trump doesn’t want to release his tax returns? Come on.. have a little street smarts. If he were any other candidate you’d be challenging patriotism and fitness for office. Trump is so out of his league it’s scary.

No suspicions here. He said a million times that the IRS is auditing his returns and he can’t release until they are complete. He also said he will release when Crillary releases her $20,000,000 private transcript speeches to Goldman Sachs, which she refuses to do.

Bullshit. IRS said a million times an audit shouldn’t stop the release. You know he’s hiding something. Maybe the IRS should fast track his audit. You agree?

        I agree on Hillary speeches.

Yes, but you must view shit on a relative basis. For example, if you only had two choices of where to get water, the New York Harbor or Guanabarra Bay, which do you choose?
