I took a nice long weekend trip out to the Bay Area over the holiday weekend. Got back real late last night and am just now working my way back into a groove.

I picked up shares of $ZLC here, at $8.84. Great volume profile above all the way to $13.

From last week:

I bought shares of GLUU for a steal here at $2.34.

This kind of spot allows me to let this trade turn into an investment…kinda like my RAX or IQNT long from earlier.

Funny, but this stock doesn’t usually move 15% in a day, without some sort of news attached. This is what I call, Alpha.

Book gains as you wish, but I plan to be an investor here, since my entry in this name was better than most.

$3.50 in 6 weeks or less.

I picked up some July Calls in CRM.

I am also looking to add a long in NUGT today to compliment my position in USLV.

Other trade considerations today: PKD, RSOL, ANAD.

While this could turn out to be a pretty slow week if you are trading market correlated instruments, I would like you to consider a simple strategy for the next few days.

The “good” stocks, everyone’s favorites have gone and rallied already, leaving traders a tough decision…to chase or not to chase.

This is the perfect environment to run a search, looking for stocks that are weak today. I have 5 for you to watch.

All five of these stocks are currently down on the day, not participating in this rally. However, if you know me and my stlye, the day following a big rally is my favorite day to trade. While I made some good money into this pop, I usually make more on the days following. Momentum will be easier to find, and I can typically peg which stocks will be bought up tomorrow.

I dabbled in some July BIDU. Let’s see how it set’s up.
