I’m Now an Indian Man, Richard Parker

I picked up shares of $SIFY at $2.04-$2.05.

I’ve been watching it and $REDF for two months. Long of some Indian internet here.

Having positioned myself in about every China stock possible, they are all ripping higher here this morning.

So far I’ve missed three great trades today, sweating entry points that were not as precise as I like. MNST, NFLX, PBTH.

What frustrates me more than anything, is failure to execute a plan properly, and watch it work without me. Especially when I am haggling over nickels and pennies at the point of execution.

Into the close, I will buy any and all things China.

On Monday’s watchlist, I highlighted MNST, a stock that was preparing to make a Monster move this week. Immediately at the open this morning, I tried getting a fill in August calls. I tried to haggle the price, all while prices were moving steadily higher off the open. I cancelled and raised my offer twice, attempting to chase the order with the stock…got frustrated, kicked my chair over and walked away from it. Needless to say I missed a monster mover today.

A few small trading errors like this, such as refusing to take my July calls in GMCR off yesterday morning at my target significantly slows down your progress on the week. Miss a great profit taking opportunity, miss a layup entry in a stock that explodes, and my account could have been up an additional 4-5 percentage points this week. Oh well.

I’ve taken the opportunity to look for set-ups today, because it beats watching a rotational tape.

I like FIO, LITB, SCTY, BZH, GOGO, RVBD, CST, LOCK…and KCG.
