In After Hours with Option Addict we stalked $ATI for an earnings trade over the last 6 months. Passed last quarter, but took a good sized chunk of calls (Feb 17.5’s) into today’s announcement. They returned better than 400%.
I took the proceeds and doubled down on $XBI here.

Have you noticed the pop today is focused on the inflation/commodity/trumptrade names? Tech is stuck in the mud. It was the inverse a few days ago.
Any useful pattern to be gleaned from that?

picked up some $YY, $RH and more $GRMN. $PRLB looks like it tried to kick off people yesterday. That extended consolidation looks like once it breaks, it will have some nice momentum.

Can you help me understand one thing? This is an epic move, but you booked into the middle of the profile. The 5 year shows about $4 more of upside to my eye. In the past you’ve advised to let it run as long as it takes out the high and not the low in a trend.
But I have seen a few moves like this that popped and rejected as well.
