Shares of $FEYE are breaking out today, and as I type, the stock is printing $18 on massive volume due to a buyout rumor and the ponytail’s pimping their book on the teevee. I’ve been sitting in August calls forever, so I welcome the chase attempt here.
You may be asking why I labeled this stock “Satan’s Stock.” Well, over the last year or more I started nibbling into these stocks on the way down. Was trying to shop growth stocks, the type that had the late 2013 melt-ups, and buy them 50% or more off their highs. I did this with $FEYE, and the stock into Q4 earnings literally shit the bed, as stocks gapped into an abyss not seen before. It trapped me, and was forced to empty my shares rather than stick to it and add.
$FEYE owes me. I hope to be here on the day it is acquired in order to be made whole on this pig.

CLDX, a ~$5 bio with earnings Aug 8. Tight BB, looks like lowest iVol this year. Chart looks like it’s a forgotten stock, with a vol gap from 5.3 up to 6.5+. Thinking about adding to my Aug calls as a YOLO.

Not sure cybersecurity is the next “big” thing – we had the Target breach, OPM breach, Anthem breach, JPM breach, countless warnings of china stealing IP, Trump inviting Russia to bring back Hillary’s emails and still not large bid under cyber security?
Cybersecurity will continue to exist, it is a requirement, but it is a suck on productivity as it only prevents bad things from happening, it does not add to a company’s productivity. Unless it is mandated, it is usually ignored. Coming from a cybersecurity professional

So I’ve been thinking that volume has surged in biotech mainly because people view the sector as less sensitive to interest rate volatility & commodity prices.
But that’s not a fundamental reason for a Biotech breakout given most the sector reported already, mainly rotation due to headline econ news that’ll be gone sooner than later.

nope. technicals & fundamentals aside, the industry has a load of potential. hospitals being hacked 4 ransomed, China now has the most super computers n the world, governments & corporations are going to need to step it up.
I see it as a generational play similar to those long term care REITS like LTC where old ass baby boomers r eventually going to live too old and flood into these old ppl healthcare facilities.

Buy Oil 40.75. Wide stop around 37. Target – large gains. Hoping to hold this for a few months. Copper is still the one to watch though for bigger gains.
