Not much to do here but sit back and bask in the glory of all of this movement. Conditions like this haven’t existed since 2012-2013.
I went 2-for-3 in earnings plays this week with $QCOM and $SWFT and my loss being $SBUX.
I hopped on early and bought today’s weekly expiry and Aug monthly expiry in $CMG calls. The weekly was a monster and I love the set-up here for a run in the stock over the next couple weeks.
I am struggling to sell anything, because as I said back in my “No Dips For You” posts, selling here makes it harder to get back on.
I’m fully loaded and trying to move things around to get into some of my favorite watchlist ideas for next week. I’ll have those all completed by this afternoon.

I’ve been following your 98-00 analogue thesis, and the one thing I’m wondering is whether, we are about 12-16 months away from the end of a Bull Market, or is this just beginning of a major long-term Bull Market?

This is the start of a longer term bull. In about 2 years we’ll have a nasty bear, but in the context of a bull.

What is a good book or other resource to learn about cycles?
Never read any. Everything I blog write and use is original content. I’ve never studied anyone’s methods or taken from too many books. Everything I use is based on my own observations, reverse engineering, and honestly just figuring shit out.

I’m in crude here for a 1 wk bounce hopefully longer.
Closed out my $sco shares at $99 for about 20% gain. My original intention was $100 but holding out for that last $ felt like hubris
SCO could go to 150.
I do believe it could. And I don’t close myself to the idea of buying back in. But at this point it was roughly at my target on a Friday afternoon, and I have found waiting on that last percent has been deleterious to my bottom line these last 6 months. I’d be in complete blow off mode in my statement (rather than just doing very well) if I’d not have gotten greedy. So I’m trying to take 99% of my objective and roll it into the next thing. There are many things out there right now.
When does bidu go too low? I know it’s in balance just trying to figure out downside risk. This setup reminds me of the 2012-13 setup
