I am pretty sure I am going to open this up to anyone that wants a free peep show, but not 100% sure yet.

Crap. I had a younger coworker who’s never done much investing asking me about putting money in solar stocks on Monday too.
Why solar? That has to be a good story. Because its hot outside?
Ha. That would have been funny. I don’t know the catalyst. He’s in his 20s, didn’t even participate in the 401k to get the company match until we explained to him how he was leaving free money on the table and now all of a sudden he’s got a chart of SCTY up on his screen and talking about how the solar industry must be a good investment since “everything is going to be solar powered eventually.”
If everything is going to be solar powered, then it will be a commodity and margins will be compressed to bare minimum. Also, most likely there will be some future technological improvement in solar and only the ones innovating will succeed.

As if I needed another justification for being short the market here. Jeeze, that’s funny OA.
For those of you that believe in fib lines, the ES 161.8% retracement of the 2007 high to 2009 low is at 2154 or so. Not surprising we’re having a hard time breaking out given that many people follow fib lines. If we were to break out above those levels I’m guessing it’s going to take your breath away how hard we rally.
BTW, someone who I have an immense amount of respect for, Futurestrader71, called for 2085 to be tested in the next day or two. He made that call with the /ES at like 2107 this morning. This guys is usually spot on with his ES hypos.
So it’ll be interesting to see how we respond tomorrow if we get an opening drive down to that spot, or gap to that level.
My Bro asked me about buying NFLX yesterday.
So, we are expecting 7-10% correction here ? or just a few % dip (another chance to buy) ? Since I am still “buy the dip” stance. Thanks OA.
