First Solar(FSLR) shares jumped 10% to $54.76 on moderate volume and SunPower (SPWR) shares surged 12% to $31.14 on moderate volume. The companies said they are in advanced negotiations to form a yieldco (http://www.marketwatch.com/story/first-solar-sunpower-rally-in-after-hours-2015-02-23), a joint vehicle of pooled solar generation assets, with an eye on launching an IPO for the spinoff.
This might get the solars moving a bit tomorrow. I’m already balls deep in $FSLR and $SUNE, but for trades tomorrow I like $JASO, $TSL, $EMKR and $SOL. $SCTY and $VSLR might be worth a watch here too.

Any opinions here on casinos? This could either be the spot to manage risk or this is the dip below the trend to shake folks out then jump back in and rip. I’m tending to the latter because I’ve gotten stopped out of too many positions lately on this move that have then ripped… but as a corollary I’m trying to fight my recency bias with some other folks’ opinions.
