Aversion? Looks like the big red candles from yesterday and today took us to the bottom (hopefully) of the aversion – would leave denial as the next waypoint. What have I missed?

Jeff — I’m impressed how you sort through these situations keep a cool head and get ahead of the crowd. How much of your confidence in the TWTR chart is because of the chart, and how much is because it’s TWTR and you believe in the company’s prospects, etc. do you think?
If you were presented with a nearly identical chart but not told who the company is, would you have similar confidence about how the sentiment cycle is likely to play out?
I feel that I’ve been connected with the publics view of this stock from the start. My initial prediction on this back at the IPO was spot on.
If I could see the publics sentiment and emotion play out in any chart, regardless of the market or name, I would have similar confidence in taking risk.
Fundamentals and business prospects mean less to me than what the guy sitting next to me thinks about the stock. In the end, I feel that is what matters most. Price is only worth what people are willing to pay.

Do you just hold TWTR as an investment without a stop?
No, with any investment you have a plan on managing risk. Either you commit to build the position, or you initiate a full block with a stop in mind. Either way, have a plan on what you are willing to lose.

wow. we do have something in common, Jeff. TWTR is my 2nd largest position. feeling the pain needless to say but in for the long haul.
I love fed days, this one seems completely screwy with stocks moving in different directions – you could bet both ways on this market and still end up losing.
FWIW, TWTR could trade down to mid 41’s to retest after-hours lows post earnings announcement.
Right, this in no way calls a low. But in time says you should look for a spot to buy a dip.
Some similarities between this chart on YELP. Seems like the mid to high 30’s are in the cards near term

Estimates are for 2015 sales of $1.5B for GPRO…methinks they do closer to $3B — if so, the euphoric price action is justified….no?
