I normally don’t get too worked up holding stock positions into earnings. It’s part of investing and a great way to determine along the way if the metrics that you are investing in are on point, and are still in alignment with where you think prices will be in the future. For the first time in my career, I was literally terrified going into First Solar earnings. Not because of the hit or miss, but because no matter the outcome, there would be a shit storm of trash talk, questions, comments, and general unnecessary focus on my single largest equity holding, ever. I’m superstitious, and I hate that kind of attention.
It’s a good sign when that holding rallies on news of a massive miss.
In other news, despite how heavy the market action has been, you can’t argue this action is so tradeable in stocks. Keep thinking “market of stocks” and find the next set-up.

Funny you ask, last night in AHWOA I told these guys to watch for a $25 pt Gold move that would start late at night. I had a buy stop trigger in GC at 93, closed at 1308 avg. Gold could attract buyers here short term.

my boss is a ridiculous Solar City Bull. I told him about Vivint, but he believes the real value that Solar City holds is the storage via battery production with the Gigafactory.
Yes, but what took SCTY 8 years in growth, Vivint has gotten to that same size in under 2 yrs. This company is no joke.
