jeff – did you see NUGT into the bell??? blatant manipulation going on. GG, a huge component of GDX was barely down on the day and gold was down less than 1%.

lol. Why are you interested in a manipulated market? Or are you just looking for an excuse rather than price of why you are “right” (if not for the manipulation) in spite of your position being down?

The last time “Smart Money” Commercials held an over 40% short position of Open Interest in the gold futures was Feb 5, 2013… until the July 8, 2014 report….
Look back at what happened from there… Good luck with that….

I’ll be your huckleberry, Steak. It was me and the short position at resistance with EXEL has worked 90% of the time. This time, it didn’t. In fact, one would have been wise to cover and GO LONG yesterday on the resistance break. EXEL could run much, much higher from here. Looking like a monster now!!
I’m a buyer of the dollar and bonds on a pullback.
I also really want to get in nattty gas but need to see how it retraces yesterdays move. I think it may have one more push lower but we will see.
