The good folks at Amish Internet Inc failed me this afternoon, as I completely lost connectivity to the outside world with an hour left of Market Massacre Friday. I apologize for the late cancellation of After Hours with Option Addict. Next week we’ll start our week long technical crash course which I will outline this weekend. I booked CRM this morning and sold TSL to reduce exposure to the group that is burning a fat ass hole in my pocket today.
The way this all works out is that we own stuff that will respond better than most to a snapback rally. After that snapback rally, we reevaluate the next round of candidates to trade given the markets risk appetite and the general rotation of stocks.
While I hate these days as much as the next, I am always smiling a few days down the road.
Capitulate if you must, but I refuse.

Tried ANGI for 10 days and cashed out for $70…went on to 2 days in ARIA for $500+…wonder what might have been Friday in a more conducive market.
18 was my original sell point after the drug came back online but with the buyout rumor and if there’s a bidding war then may hold to 20 and beyond. i may sell some puts on monday if it drops. will cont to accumate any way i can…

me neither, I added aapl speculative earnings play w risk capital, even as expensive as it was. I have a healthy fear/respect for a further massive drop. if we do get a rally, however, I hope we can exit at an opportune time in order to position ourselves for the next play. hindsight is 20-20, gotta plan for the next play and move forward.
as a related play, ZAGG on watchlist…worth a look.
ZAGG is a zero. I bailed on that one over a year ago. Their business model of selling thin plastic sheets for $35 is kinda hard when you can buy them for $5 at Marshall’s/TJ Maxx
i think their launch of the case that charges iPhone on the go could be a winner, it was just showcased at ces. this was a battered stock, so thats why I think it is worth watching.

only ANGI went up.
The Dow was down over 300. Most everything was down.
I cut my GMCR just because it was a near term play. I also cut TRLA based on the limited profit potential it provided at my target. Sold a small portion of some of my longs that were holding up just to free up some cash so I can be a buyer next week. It was difficult to triage such a shit sandwich but I did myy best.
In the future I will be hedging in another decline like this. We just can’t be one sided with out any fail safe.
Oh I also cut TSL; just because it was utterly destroyed

I have two earnings plays on for next week
FB(Breakout and Up trend) and ATTU (Long)
call me crazy but I bought BIDU more IWM based upon large buy volumes at the end. i watch another guy that looks at algo and dark pool money and they were buying up the sell. just something to consider.
I’ll probably put on a earnings long for FB too, not sure about AAPL. But it bodes better for a beat when it sells off before.

IMHO: Fed continues a 10 billion taper and extends dollar swaps with all major central banks for another year. US stocks move up on this news. Long options: SPY (filled around 3pm may be too early), TBT, TRLA, FSLR, RAX. TRLA and FSLR filled on Friday as well.
