Clouds do not Cause Climate Change: Study

Andrew Dessler, a Texas A&M atmospheric sciences professor considered one of the nation’s experts on climate variations, says decades of data support the mainstream and long-held view that clouds are primarily acting as a so-called “feedback” that amplifies warming from human activity. His work is published in the American Geophysical Union’s peer-reviewed journal Geophysical Research Letters.

“The bottom line is that clouds have not replaced humans as the cause of the recent warming the Earth is experiencing,” Dessler says.

Dessler adds, “Over a century, however, clouds can indeed play an important role amplifying climate change.”

“I hope my analysis puts an end to this claim that clouds are causing climate change,” he adds.

Let us, from there, talk once again about the American Moon landings, even if we have already often done that.

I have here a book with the title “Die dunkle Seite von Apollo” [The Dark Side of Apollo] by Gernot L. Geise, which was published by Michaels-Verlag in the year 2002.

It has the ISB-Number 3-89539-607-9.

The research which the author undertook is astonishing and likewise expresses that the US Americans, respectively, NASA, undertook the greatest swindle of all time and has deceived the entire world in order to win the Cold War and the race to the Moon, and so forth, against the Soviet Union.

In addition to that, I am able to recall that earlier, once the talk was that NASA, subsequently, under certain circumstances, after the alleged first conjured up Moon race landing on July 20th, 1969, carried out manned or unmanned Moon landings, whereby all objects and so forth were then set out on the Moon which were supposed to have been left behind by the alleged first landing on the Moon.

The reason for that was supposed to have been, as I remember it, that it could later be “proven” that the first Moon landing, and also further ones, was actually supposed to have come about on July 20th, 1969.

The whole thing can eventually actually come about through a new type of telescope, always with the prerequisite that real materials were set out on the Moon, yet it could also be that then everything is only a studio set-up, as with the alleged first Moon landing.

For this, indeed in suitable areas, hundreds of craters were created by means of underground explosions of blasting agents, and, with construction equipment, heaved-up hills would were created, which finally looked like a Moon landscape.

These areas, alongside special film studios, were then indeed also used for the lavish so-called training of astronauts.

The decisive machinations for the entire Moon landing swindle lead back fundamentally to Werner Freiherr von Braun and Walt Disney, who, together as good friends, already established everything earlier.

Walt Disney, as movie special effects specialist, suited NASA perfectly.

But, unfortunately, he died two and a half years before the execution of the swindle, on December 12th, 1966, if I remember correctly.

His ideas and those of Werner von Braun, who indeed died in 1977, I think that it was on June 16th, were then however still realised.

Irene is no joke

Irene’s storm surge may flood New York City’s subway system
The floodwalls protecting Manhattan are only five feet above mean sea level. During the December 12, 1992 Nor’easter, powerful winds from the 990 mb storm drove an 8-foot storm surge into the Battery Park on the south end of Manhattan. The ocean poured over the city’s seawall for several hours, flooding the NYC subway and the Port Authority Trans-Hudson Corporation (PATH) train systems in Hoboken New Jersey. FDR Drive in lower Manhattan was flooded with 4 feet of water, which stranded more than 50 cars and required scuba divers to rescue some of the drivers. Mass transit between New Jersey and New York was down for ten days, and the storm did hundreds of millions in damage to the city. Tropical Storm Floyd of 1999 generated a storm surge just over 3 feet at the Battery, but the surge came at low tide, and did not flood Manhattan. The highest water level recorded at the Battery in the past century came in September 1960 during Hurricane Donna, which brought a storm surge of 8.36 feet to the Battery and flooded lower Manhattan to West and Cortland Streets. However, the highest storm surge on record in New York City occurred during the September 3, 1821 hurricane, the only hurricane ever to make a direct hit on the city. The water rose 13 feet in just one hour at the Battery, and flooded lower Manhattan as far north as Canal Street, an area that now has the nation’s financial center. The total surge is unknown from this greatest New York City hurricane, which was probably a Category 2 storm with 110 mph winds. NOAA’s SLOSH model predicts that a mid-strength Category 2 hurricane with 100-mph winds could drive a 15 – 20 foot storm surge to Manhattan, Queens, Kings, and up the Hudson River. JFK airport could be swamped, southern Manhattan would flood north to Canal Street, and a surge traveling westwards down Long Island Sound might breach the sea walls that protect La Guardia Airport. Many of the power plants that supply the city with electricity might be knocked out, or their docks to supply them with fuel destroyed. The more likely case of a Category 1 hurricane hitting at high tide would still be plenty dangerous, with waters reaching 8 – 12 feet above ground level in Lower Manhattan. Given the spread in the models, I predict a 20% chance that New York City will experience a storm surge in excess of 8 feet that will over-top the flood walls in Manhattan and flood the subway system. This would most likely occur near 8 pm Sunday night, when high tide will occur and Irene should be near its point of closest approach. Such a storm surge could occur even if Irene weakens to a tropical storm on its closest approach to New York City.

There’s not really any explanation here that doesn’t underscore the fact of Romney’s enormous wealth estimated to be as much as $264 million, according to disclosure documents filed with the Federal Election Commission this month. Romney’s campaign said “a more accurate range” of his estimated wealth is merely between $190 million and $250 million.

It’s not quite on the level of not knowing how many homes you own, but both Democrats and anti-Romney Republicans could make the comparison to John McCain’s famously out-of-touch 2008 moment. Whether that’s a turnoff for voters is another question.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, California’s current unemployment rate stands at 11.8%. Perhaps the Romney renovation will create a few much-needed jobs.

Billy: And what about big reaction units and solar sail principles?

NASA says Aliens may attack us because we are destroying our home world

The brainstorming NASA brain trust speculates “that extraterrestrial environmentalists could be so appalled by our planet-polluting ways that they view us as a threat to the intergalactic ecosystem and decide to destroy us.

Extraterrestrial intelligence (ETI) “could attack and kill us, enslave us, or potentially even eat us. ETI could attack us out of selfishness or out of a more altruistic desire to protect the galaxy from us. We might be a threat to the galaxy just as we are a threat to our home planet,” it warns.
