I do not wish for anything. Kicking the can is solving the problem in our twisted society.
If the ECB can cover sovereign debt liquidity needs and manipulate yields lower over an extended period of time then we might just restore full confidence…enough for the wheels of the world economy to turn and continue the game.
That is in effect problem solved.
