Wow, unbelievable. Where’s the national press on this? They will reap what they have sown, and a tonne of political “careers” will be toast (or they become lobbyists).

Maybe this will ensure the cops actually do their job, and get the warrant right, before breaking down the door.

Why public servants are “unlawfully” entering homes is what the focus should be on anyway. Why it has to come to homeowners protecting themselves from the public-fucking-servants is astonishing.

If an officer unlawfully enters my home I will rip off his toes!

This has to be the dumbest thing I’ve heard all week.

For one, don’t expect the cops to come rushing into your house to save you when you called about the madman who broke into your house and is having his way with your wife. The cop will sit outside your front door listening to screams because he isn’t going to come in unless he has permission.

This is going to be like the wild west. Cops have a right to protect their lives, they are wearing bullet proof vest and regularly practice shooting. Why even have police if you think you can do better.

In the Bloomberg story I posted, plain clothes officers and detectives are now going to homes with a uniformed officer so they won’t risk getting shot by someone who “misunderstands” the law. It’s just nutz. I like my cops, fire fighters, EMT’s, HazMat, and other public servants to respond post haste when I might dial 911.

Wow, that is absolutely ridiculous. Glad I don’t live there.
