That just doesn’t seem like a useful comparison, unless you’re only trying to rile up your followers. Our 1% is hardly an aristocracy; hell, the composition of the 1% changes all the time.
What did the 1% look like in 2007, and what does it look like today? It’s not even consistently the same people. You can’t hate “the 1%”, because they’re not a static group.
The difference is our 99% want to be, and more importantly can be the 1% if they work hard enough.
Except for the Fabians who want everyone to “hold” at a certain level, so they can be centrally controlled, I mean.
