The_Real_Hmmm had an interesting observation; a very large portion of the shipping tonnage is crude oil being moved around from “cheap” locations to more expensive ones.
I don’t know if that means these numbers are inflated or not, but the stats were interesting. You can see them on one of my old posts where I was ranting about the price.
Cain I would not be surprised that the numbers might be inflated.
I have read similar stories in the shipping industry.
