We were budgeting a project to use cellphones to monitor the delivery of government services to the agricultural sector in Pakistan. I questioned the program manager about the cost estimate for the phones and service. Apparently, unlimited texting is available for about $25/year there.
$25 per year, not per month.
I suggest spending millions on congressional hearings to mandate the evil wireless carriers to stop gouging their customers, preferably resulting in a new bill.
