If that’s the best the bears can do at the open I would say the path of least resistance would be up.
The air is so thick with bears and bearish news about Europe I would not be surprised to see a positive futes as we move along in the evening.

Plenty of buyers waiting at lower prices. Money needs to be invested. Stocks of high growth companies are more attractive now than bonds, real estate, Gold, Silver. $AAPL is too cheap.
First of the month inflows, then tank.
