ALERT: CALVERT CLIFFS NUCLEAR REACTOR IS DOWN
The Calvert Cliffs nuclear power plant had to shut down a reactor. They say everything is fine and nothing to worry about.
Unit #1 is shut down. Unit #2 is operating at 100%. All employees are fine. Constellation says an “unusual” event at the plant occurred, due to Hurricane Irene.
