Fixing the problem is easier said than done.
Politicians routinely run no raising taxes campaigns because they know they can always borrow money from the federal reserve.
That is precisely why we are here.
Unfortunately, taxes will have to go up.
taxes don’t need to go up, we have no intention of ever paying of the debt, nor an ability to, that’s how the system is run. You continuously take out new credit cards to pay for the old. It can go on as long as you can create new credit cards.
But that’s obviously a simplification of it. Taxes cannot increase as a percentage forever, they do however increase in nominal terms as inflation increases.
