So the GOP is so fucked up they can’t even agree within their own ranks as to what retarded plan they don’t want to pass with the democrats?

“I don’t see why anybody’s talking about playing chicken with the debt ceiling,”
    -president Obama

“The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure,” he said on March 16, 2006. “Leadership means that ‘the buck stops here.’ Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership . Americans deserve better. I therefore intend to oppose the effort to increase America’s debt limit.”
    -Senator Obama

More like, the GOP is proposing solutions, like the solution Boehner agreed on with Obama after he had a bi-partisanship effort before the gang of six a bi-partisanship effort changed Obama’s mind, and Obama started incorporating both things into the plan which wasn’t part of the deal. Obama then said he would veto any deal that wasn’t exactly what he wants. Interestingly enough, Obama of course doesn’t even know what the hell he wants and could debate himself, unless of course he is not speaking on his own behalf and/or wasn’t as a senator.
    Typical inexperienced rookie.

  4. media bias

That article is saying that 100% of the republicans aren’t in support so it will have to be bi-partisan effort, but it’s spun to make it sound like Republicans aren’t on the same page, which to some extent they are not, but it’s not like the dems have a plan that the majority will pass and I don’t see any senate democrats (which they have the majority) making any headwind either, nor the president proposing a bill so this is a bi-partisan failure, don’t let your biases on either side get in the way.

It certainly doesn’t help that thanks to Obama’s speech urging everyone to ‘call your politicians’ with less than a week left that the phones are ringing off the hook and they are starting to second guess and consider other ideas when they don’t have the time.
