“China raised banks’ required reserves on Sunday for the fourth time this year, extending the fight against excessive liquidity and stubbornly high inflation in the world’s second-largest economy.
The reserve rate rise, which followed an increase in benchmark bank interest rates on April 5, was the seventh since China stepped up efforts against inflation in October and underscored the government’s determination to keep the economy on an even keel.”

Comments »New Potential Worry Developing With Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Plant
This is now a third story I have found on this nuclear power plant .
During the earthquake in 2007 there was damage to this plant.
The post I put out two weeks ago; which unfortunately came from a blog…so not verifiable, was potentially backed by another story where fish had a high radiation content caught off this area of coastline. A fishy story at that, since Fukushima is on the other side of the Island.
Now you have this minor mention of potential trouble with this plant.
