this is going to kill the Class Action Law Suit. Another clear sign that US citizens are screwed.
Wrong. Very wrong. In the long run, class actions have screwed Americans since their inception. Even the famous ones have have proven to have more harm than good for everyone with the exception of lawyers.

I have to agree with this~
“I think this decision will help consumers, not hurt them,” said Alan Kaplinsky, a Philadelphia lawyer for the American Bankers Assn. “The only people who do well in the class-action suits are the lawyers. The attorneys get millions in fees, and the consumers get a worthless coupon. For them, it’s better to go through arbitration.”
Been there, done that, first hand. The lawyers got millions, I got a $300 coupon toward services costing thousands, and I would not go back to that company anyway.
Get real folks… a class action lawsuit in most cases has represented a large number of people wronged in some fashion.
Companies would rather settle out of court and ask upon payment that nobody can speak to the media about their settlement and how they were screwed.
This is all about corporate image and paying out without admitting guilt.
