You are the aesthetician of your life. No one but you makes you sit in your little seat watching little green and red tick marks on an eye-destroying screen. That’s ideal, I suppose as some of you decide to watch CNBC and other silly men shouting about how stocks must go up soon. Today is going to be boring but no one is going to tell you that on TV. They want to suck the life out of you in furtherance of ad revenue. They want to be the aesthetician of your life. Don’t let ’em. Go for a walk. Ride a bike. Murder a small child. Whatever you do, do it because you want to do it. Don’t let this market (or anyone, for that matter) own you.
