What’s that sound, you say? Those of you with extremely sensitive hearing probably heard a dog whistle this morning, after the absolutely execrable unemployment numbers came out. Given that the increase in unemployment, the lack of job growth and the near-frozen economic capability of our scared scat-less private sector leaves the Powers that Be with very little in the Hope and Change department, the only remaining response is a toot on the dog whistle.

And who’s that St. Bernard that’s come-a-trotting with a big barrel of printer’s ink secured beneath his hairy jowls? Why that’s St. Ben-ard Bernake!   He knows that there’s no FacePlant Book rally coming to secure the 2012 elections and therefore his place on the Iron Throne of Westeros.  So the only other plan to help us out here is to pump the press and let the liquidity flow.  Heck, what are you going to do, anyway? Buy Euros??

No, but there’s always RGLD, GDX, GDXJ, SIL, SLW, EXK, AG, ANV, IAG, and of course, BAA.  Tons of other “beaten downs” as well that will make someone a lot of money, but as you know, my time here is limited.

Go out there and feast.  It’s Printing Day.

Best to you all.

Thank you Jake!

In addition to the miners hoard I’ve been watching the NAV’s on the physical trusts – last few days actually negative on CEF. Nice to see big fat upside candles today.

Wish you a great weekend sir..

If anyone is ballsy, they will buy TNA right now. Gold stocks don’t move unless the market will follow…

With a bit of my upbringing in the Blue Ridge mountains, I thought of tomato juice as well.. Never ended up in a tub of it of myself, though was close a few times and am sure that’s where my folks would have put me.

I looked it up to make sure I wasn’t remembering the wrong thing and this cure had a funny caveat.

So if curious Fido happens to frighten Pepe Le Pew, all you need to do is mix 1 quart (.95 liters) of 3 percent hydrogen peroxide, a quarter cup (59 milliliters) of baking soda and one teaspoon (5 milliliters) of liquid detergent and lather him up [source: Dean]. After five minutes, rinse off your pup and he should be as good as new. Be warned: This potion may do a little more than take away the smell as it can also slightly change hair color.

EXK gains finally offsetting losses in YELP. Thanks FLY (sarcastically). Still not selling though. YELP has got to turn around at some point. YELP is currently my “Holy Crap” moment.

A paltry handful of comments on such a powerful day for the metals! Volume on the JakeGint blog has withered away to “pink sheets” levels during this horror of a bear market. Have no fear — by the end of this next cycle there will be thousands of ‘em. We have endured the famine; the feast (hopefully) awaits us.

Long GDXJ EXK AG EGO VGZ BAA KGN NGD AUY RIC AUQ in solidarity with Mr Gint.

Senator, wonderful to see another post from you! I’ve just been basically sitting quietly with a my collection of AGQ, NUGT, GDXJ, SLW, RGLD, EXK, ANV, IAG, NGD, EGO, RIC and mabye a few more that I’ve forgotten about as I rattle off the names here. I even tossed some non-PMs overboard on Wed and Thurs and plowed the proceeds into a bit more NUGT (better lucky than smart!) Thanks for taking the time to post; your guidance is much appreciated during these tumultuous times. Back to hiding in the tall grass in solidarity with you now…

Thanks Jake,

Finally a lock out day. Currently holding GDX, GDXJ, SIL and SLW to the tune of about 80 percent.
