I go with UK also, especially after a downer of a loss the other night by UL @ home (the wins v. C. of Charleston and Wes. KY not impressive). UL showed their comparatively weak perimeter defense which UK will exploit with some good treys.
In any event it’s KY BB so anything can happen.
That is treu. We just don’t match up well, save maybe at point guard (Siva) and center (Dieng). UK is just so stacked this year it’s frightening… the only thing we have going for us is Pitino’s system and some (more) experience playing together.
That Michael Kidd Gilchrist is going to be a superstar in the NBA, though. He’s just unflappable. He needs to be on the bench with fouls if we are to have half a chance.
Who knows? Maybe the G’town loss woke them up out of their stupor?
