We have options expiration tomorrow so with that out of the way I am more bullish.
The only thing that makes me scratch my head is the impact of MF Global as physical is the only thing that has kept TPTB in check setting price (too low and it flows East). Many investors in physical were in MF Global and would stand for delivery but that significant capital in futures is now frozen. The liquidity freeze world wide in banks impact all asset classes and I am not sure how much lack of futures / MF Global will impact price.
Two listed positives when added to seasonality makes three positives versus the MF Global/liquidity question (short term concern only).
I can’t help but think that MF Global’s impact has already been written into the market.
Besides, Corzine only stole about a billion and a half. That’s not a huge amount across the entire commodity spectrum. If anything, I think it will give the CFTC pause in constraining margin at this juncture.
Looking forward to see if the Obama SEC or Justice Dept has even a shred of integrity left. If they do, Corzine will be perp walking soon.
I’m not holding my breath. In fact, I would bet that even with an arrest, 0Bama pardons his ass like Clinton did that Marc Rich crook.

I still think there’s a decent play evolving with the miners, especially if $HUI can retake and hold the 545 range this week. JMHO. A big break below 511 and I’d have to rethink my position. I still like AG for silver too and would add on any further dip.
