… short it. Yeah, so what. I’m not in a good mood, and so I’ll be bitterly open with you… we are heading under 9,000. That means, to me the market above 9800 is a bargain for shorts, and above 10,000 is a steal. But don’t get all crazy- above 10,300 (recovery of about 6%) is not good for the bears. We are the ambitious type, but still wear panties sometimes.
Let’s see, I opened up an AFAM short which is sure to go against me next week, but I’ll add my real position then. I added more to my LULU short because it feels good to be anti-yoga (no more parking at the gym thanks to them). And to get a little nasty, I’m getting LONG APPL at the end of the day.
Right now I’m doing “baseball-trading.” Not swinging for home runs, just getting doubles and triples. My long AAPL move is probably a bunt. Baseball trading is something I developed in college when I was busy taking exams and chasing foreign girls. Basically, when you’re too busy to track everything in the market, all you have to do is make aboue 3 trades at a time, with the goal of getting two out of three (2 with the trend, 1 against). That’s a pretty good batting average, no? Let’s just hope the market doesn’t go Roy Halladay on me.
On another note…. BRAZIL?!! WHY?!!

haven’t visited here for like months… i had a call option on AAPL that i FORGOT to cash out…. stupid… I do think there is a possibility of VZ calls now with stronger evidence that Apple is indeed making an iPhone for other carriers in 2011… and of course the opposite, AT&T(T) for the put option.
But yes, the trend… I would only venture to actually buy AAPL options when they report next… either way it will move…
Everyone is talking LeBron… He is trying to build a Kobe-like team… The problem is he’s already tried that in Cleveland. The Lakers on the other hand will only get better: 3 point specialist, another defensive specialist on the wings, adequate rebounder/defense 1st big man…. but most of all hopefully, a healthy Kobe/Bynum/Gasol.
