Heads up on China Fire and Security Group (CFSG)

I usually don’t want to give out trades before I do more fundamental research, but here’s my technical notes on CFSG trade.  It’s on high priority buy.  I’m still digging up more information about the company, but from what I’ve learned so far, earnings and growth is through the roof.  More on this later.

This stock will be in the 20s soon…

Thanks for your charting and research Gio – been reading up on your China calls for a couple of days and I’m liking it. I’ve also working through your stuff on shorts along with RC – for sometime to come I’ll likely be using the info to avoid getting into something I shouldn’t, and play some paper shorts rather than try shorting myself.

RC is a pro. i think it’s important to follow us throughout the “system” of a trade, rather than just try to buy when we buy, sell when we sell. so whether you trade it or not, at least you get a system that works for you as u tweak it along the way.

Most definitely Gio, I watch a lot of shit play out on iBC from start to finish plenty happy to be able to watch and learn from some of you fine traders in action – what a freeby! Some stuff (like shorting) is a bit over my head still, and some things aren’t covered here at all and I head elsewhere (asset allocation / ultimately transitioning a portion of the portfolio to some income stocks – I like RandomRoger for that).

Patter recognition comes pretty easy to me from my professional background and clearly I spend a lot of time on CA’s tab and try and trade alongside the group using what I’m learning – sometimes I go with his picks – but by far most are ones I initiate. I like the fast pace and (usually) the discipline over there, kinda like speed chess.

Always keeping an eye on your stuff. By the way, love Hawaii – been there twice – Kauai, Oahu, the big island. Hope to get back – a wicked haul from Maine though…

Let’s play chess one day. I absolutely LOVE speed chess. like 3 mins and under. bullet style. i think i have a yahoo account. i’m sure that my obsession with it helps with daytrading. haven’t played in a while though so i’m slow now. give me chance.

right now its kindah raining here. i was hoping the hurricane would give us a little more to talk about.

Damn, didn’t think of playing online, count me in, I’ll look into it. Shit, a couple of months ago it would have taken me a week to decide on buying a stock! Are you on the big island?

Gio, just out of curiosity, i noticed that you started using the same free charting system that i’ve been using since the site changed names. im assuming that you do the same as me in terms of posting your pics online ( simple keyboard shortcuts)_ WINK+Printscreen) then over to windows paint, CTL+V, then a little of that box cuttert, CTL+C after you chose you image, then CTL+N for a new page followed by a CTL+V to paste your selected image….bllaaaaaaaaaaaaaaoooooooooooooooow

btw gio, u rock i like ur attitude

    Hi andrad,

I use Jing by ScreenCast to take a picture of the chart, then I use the ‘shared’ tab which let me easily embed pictures into blog. It’s so much better than moving it to Paint then saving then uploading. I highly rec it. Plus, why are you still using Microsoft Paint?!! You must download Paint.Net… i don’t care what you’re doing, stop it now and download it. Its 10x better + its free. Its also similar to photoshop layering system so its very flexible.

    hope this helps.
