I told him speculators are the most net short they have been in history and they are dumb niggers like him. Then I said if the markets are going to reverse it have to stop out all the short trend followers and get them long by going above the 200 day moving average and the Nasdaq likely needs to have a blow out into new all time highs before companies like Shopify and Amazon reverse and lead the market down.
Probably going to need at least a few weeks to churn above and below the 200 day and 3000 to tire out the Zero Hedge glue sniffers and all the new day traders before picking a direction. Guess is down given the real economy is probably not going to be unicorns and candy canes like Art Laffer says in a couple of months and a blow off runs seems unlikely in an election year no matter what the economy does.
