Thanks. Good stuff.
How about a new poll?

It would be interesting to see where people think we are going.
Danny,
I know this is good stuff, but I just can’t understand it without the explanations.
Would you consider trying to educate some of us or tell us what we need to read in order to get it.
A story:
When I was in graduate school, my wife, at the time, got a clerical job with a well regarded professor of statistics, who would occasionally reflect on statistical concepts well beyond my wife’s level of understanding and talk to her as if she understood.
Since my wife was supposed to be somewhat knowledgeable, I ask what she did when this happened and she said she just petted the cat.
At the time, I thought that she was being clever and referencing some abstract principle, or adroitly referring to a post hoc test called the tukey (sic), which a friend of ours had named his cat after.
Later, as we discussed the incident she told me that, in fact, she was being quite literal. Evidently, the professor had a cat and as the conversation deepened, my wife just gave up and began petting the cat.
Well Danny, when I look at your charts, I find myself wishing there were a cat around.
Please help!
haha I like that story Hawaii.
I have kind of covered this at length, but dont fault you at all for not being able to find them. I hope these help, but please ask for more specificity if they do not.
heres a basic idea of what I’m doing:

This is much more specific:
http://ibankcoin.com/dannyblog/2008/05/15/ibc-machine-daily-update-51508/
note that I no longer call this the ‘IBC Machine,’ which I actually thought was catchy, but Fly hated. Oh well.
Thanks,
I’ll read these and get back with questions.
Danny, I know this isn’t exactly what you are doing, but you might enjoy reading about Gerald Appel’s “Breadth Thrust.”
