I took off a piece of my PCLN short, discussed on this blog (videos) and announced inside the 12631 Trading Service this week.
I went short at 1,241.36 and took some off at $1,203.52. I have a small piece left on as a runner.
As I write this, I see the stock continuing to get hit.
This is a marquee, leading issue, which has now broken down below its 200-day moving average, not to mention prior lows from the summer.

Here are some ideas with vulnerable charts that I would consider swing trading on the SHORT side ONLY ON WEAKNESS in a broad market which accelerates to the downside. Short-selling includes unlimited risk, since stocks can rise indefinitely, or at least much longer and much higher than seems reasonable. Thus, I strongly encourage you to define your risk beforehand via a concrete buy-cover protective stop-loss, in the event the trade goes against you. Also, please be sure to check earnings dates for any and all of your holdings.

Whether I look for new plays on the long or short side tomorrow largely depends on how the market reacts to the jobs number. Still, the action of late has been increasingly concerning for bulls.
Into weakness, therefore, I am stalking Visa again as a short.
The stock has been working through a multi-month, grinding rising channel. It is still below its highs from early-2014, and I expect a rollover to be a violent one to new correction lows. I would view a move under $210 as a trigger for the short.
Drop me your top tickers overnight.
