Into the afternoon swoon, I scaled partial gains in my GM UNP shorts inside 12631. I consider these “sniper shorts” since they are liquid, not heavily-shorted stocks. So, I am essentially a lone wolf in shorting them and particularly prone to being squeezed violently.
I see bulls are trying to bounce us off the lows. Overall, there were some wild swings today but buyers are still having a hard time holding rallies.
Into the bell and next week, keep an eye on DNKN F SHW as fresh shorts on weakness.
