Chess – probably not the proper time or place, so I completely understand if you don’t respond – but would it be unwise to hold $FNMA after the week it just put in (+60%)?

Pardon and please allow me butting in with my novice opinion. It all depends on your timeframe for the trade. If you believe that there is long term potential for much higher prices (as I do) with FNMA and are willing to assume the required risk and lengthen your timeframe, then holding it is a good idea in my opinion. Having said that however, if your timeframe on the trade was short-term/swing like trade then I would take the gains. No one ever went broke taking 60% gains along the way šŸ˜‰

100% agree. I guess what I really meant to ask is whether the risk of holding over the next couple weeks (of potential* consolidation) is disproportionate to selling and buying back. It is literally a 100% position.

To my eyes it will no doubt come back to somewhere near the 20 day around 3.60-3.65 where I would look for it build to a base or at least react positively to that area. If that happens I will most likely be looking to buy it, if I can remember to keep checking on it, instead of forgetting about it like I always do haha. Wow what a rant haha. In your case though, yeah, I would sell at least half if its at 100% gain if not all haha. That’s a huge win, congrats.

Yes. Per my rationalization, this is the one time in my life where I can assume unnecessary risk.

For Saturday night amusement, here is the irrepressible Elton John singing LIVE to the backing track on Soul Train.

Hysterical during the bridge, at 2:02 (song time) Elton checking out the dancers.

Timely choice …as we’re fucking around in Ukrainian politics, the movie helps educate Americans about Ukrainians.

      .
… the ruthless Edward Norton character shot and killed the Ukranian in a botched attempt to “fence” gold bullion … does that “educate” us about Americans ???
