Genie Energy Ltd. is an interesting energy/utility play, headquartered on Broad Street in Newark.

Note the high/tight bull flag breakout on the daily chart, below. Also impressive is the surge in buy volume of late. I like it as a long idea for further upside over Wednesday’s highs.

Anyone study the company?

    Gaming sector and particularly CZR , LVS ,
    CZR , and BYD . If this group can continue to divurge from market trends then this could be the sector for2014 .

    $UVE has had a great run.I sold half and recovered my cost.I feel it is now fully
    valued but nervous to sell the balance.
    (Greed)I believe the American economy
    is going to grow a good many more years and so I’ll hold on.

    Chess, I’m a longtime investor in GNE and until now couldn’t find anyone commenting on the stock. I’m not skilled at chart reading (sadly). Views on GNE after Friday’s drop? Thanks,
