DDD is running into earnings, and it will be interesting to see if someone “knew something.” The stock is threatening a major upside breakout from the daily consolidation, though the monthly is quite steep. Earnings are, indeed, the wildcard here.
Emerging markets and the metals are both consolidating before their next moves–Still in established downtrends, but still in bounce mode off recent lows. Interestingly, the silver miners outperformed today.
Finally, Apple is back up to its upper daily Bollinger Band–Remember that analysis we did with the metals and miners a few weeks back above the Bollingers? Same applies here. If Apple does not expectedly fall back to the middle Band, it could easily be a sign of a major change in character for the better. Watch it this week, especially with earnings out of the way.
