As you know, that is not all of Las Vegas. There is the east side, downtown and the massive suburban area to the NW. What I remember about Las Vegas is the fact that one could easily be killed on the major suburban streets west of the strip, where cars were traveing at freeway speed among the entrances to shopping centers, apartment buildings and cheap condos.
