1) Most forms of gambling online are still outlawed, but online poker becomes legalized in America.
2) The federal government essentially forms an oligopoly, in that only the major casino operators in Las Vegas are allowed to host online poker.
3) As a result, Steve Wynn proves he’s the smartest the guy in the room, again. As a Democrat, Wynn likely has not been such an outspoken critic of President Obama and Congress for patriotic purposes, but rather to publicly pressure Washington to legalize online poker to his liking.
4) The Denver Broncos defeat the San Francisco 49ers to win Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans, LA.
5) The Miami Heat defeat the Oklahoma City Thunder again to repeat as NBA champions.
6) High beta China stocks, and high beta China-related commodities, significantly outperform high growth names (i.e. AMZN CMG PCLN) in America.
7) The Tokyo Nikkei 225 rises another 20%.
8) James Bond and Skyfall serve as a spoiler during the 85th Academy Awards show, winning Best Picture in another mediocre year for Hollywood films.
9)Â Breaking Bad and Justified continue to be, by far, the two best series on television today.
10) Tim Tebow gets traded to Jacksonville and subsequently leads the team to the playoffs in 2013, with offensive weapons such as Maurice Jones-Drew and Justin Blackmon. The New York Jets suffer an 0-16 season.
Yeah! Justified is an addictive show….under appreciated too.

Senator Elizabeth Warren becomes the bane and laughing stock of many traders with her attacks on the online investing community.
On the Senate floor she erroneously cites StockTwits and iBC as “secret trading cabals” where hedge funds and shadow offshore traders share secrets unavailable to “non-traditional American middle class families saving for medical care and school supplies”. The senator introduces a bill to subject Twitter and “elite online investing clubs” to regulatory enforcement from the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The bill fails to leave the Senate Finance Committee.
11) A remake of the Wizard of Oz..Obama plays the role of the
