Saturday Night at Chess Cinemas

While The Fugitive was a terrific film that came out in 1993, my favorite film from that summer, by far, was In the Line of Fire. It does not get much better than watching Clint Eastwood and John Malkovich square off in a high stakes cat and mouse game. Well, perhaps adding Rene Russo into the fold does.

Malkovich makes this movie a superior one. Earned an Oscar nomination for his role…who lost to TL Jones in The Fugitive. Eastwood just plays Eastwood until he cries in a scene…solid choice, Chess.
