How is the 200 day moving average so different between the hourly SPY chart versus the daily chart S&P 500 chart?
HalfBlood-
From the freestockcharts.com FAQ:
Why does the value of my 50-day moving average change when I go from a Daily chart to a Weekly chart?
All indicators are plotted using periods. The period changes with the time frame on the chart. A 50 period moving average on a Daily chart is a 50-day moving average. A 50 period moving average on a weekly chart is a 50-week moving average.
Chessnwine, I really enjoy your analysis every day. Thanks. I think we can equally expect that should the 1180 hold only to move higher, many bears would be left frustrated, but similarly if the 1180 does not hold, many bulls would be frustrated, especially if we then unexpectedly print a lower low than the mid/late august one. That would be getting really erratic.
Thanks
Btw, what charting program do you use to get those charts?
Thanks.
Chess,
Love the posts; keep up the good work brotha.
Appreciate it.
